It is said here in the county that the moment Cornish Magnolias flower, Spring has arrived in England and we have the six champion Magnolia trees (Caerhays Castle Gardens, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Trebah Garden, Tregothnan, Trewidden and Trewithen) each contending for the all important first flower.
